First quick question………reward for the class member who answers it first (correctly of course!).

We have been developing our activity series of metals……you were looking for the production of hydrogen bubbles on the surface of the metals!

Now for the quiz bit……..what are the products when a metal reacts with

a) oxygen

b) cold water

c) hot water

d) dilute HCl

e) concentrated HCl……

……This is me………gosh no , that’s the saddle club song. Not a great way to start!!!

This is a blog I have set up for my high school Chem class. They don’t know about it yet, but I hope the idea when they do. We will talk about what we’ve done in class, save a bit of paper along the way and probably talk about some ‘nothing’ stuff too!

For the moment, class members will contribute via a comment, as can anyone else who is interested. Eventually we’ll sort out some editors etc. We will see how all this goes. I can see great possibilities……….
